Huge news from me: I’ve been asked to teach a class in Fashion Photography at one of the biggest photographer conventions in Europe – The Society of Photographers Convention 2024! It’s a huge honour to be among some really, really huge names in the photography industry who are attending from all over the world. And me!

What You Will Learn
Light:
I’m primarily a studio photographer so that’s what I’ll be teaching you! I’ll explain 3-4 creative lighting setups. We will talk about the use of gels and creative lighting techniques to give you exciting in-camera images.
Models
I have been working with fashion and editorial models for years, as well as “real” men and women. I’ll demonstrate how to get the very best from models for potential clients. What language to use, how to ask for the poses you have visualised and how to build a great working relationship with your models.
Styling and Colour:
I’ll teach you what to consider when working with fabrics, backdrops, colour and texture.
When working in an editorial environment, colour accuracy can be crucial. I’ll make sure to explain how I ensure colour accuracy in every shoot, meaning that clients come back time and time again.
